Dear Cub Scout Families,

We’re getting off to a little slower start than usual at the beginning of this school year, but please know that we are hard at work planning a great year of Cub Scout activities. We’ll be sharing more information soon about upcoming meetings, events, and opportunities to get involved.

Thank you for your patience and support. We’re looking forward to a fun and exciting year together!

Please save the date for our Fall Campout: October 24-25.  The location is Lost Ridge campsite at Lake Chabot (very close to the site we camped at last year).

Saturday, May 2nd we will have our Spring Picnic from 11:30-2:30.  11:30-12:15 will be setting up and preparing the hot dogs. This year, we will be at the Lafayette Community Park (480 St. Mary's Road) in the picnic area, across from the playground. We will have a casual hotdog lunch, run some field games and go for a hike along the trails.  And we will finish with our ice cream sundae bar.

Pack Supplied Menu:  BBQ Hot Dogs, Plant-Based "Smart Dogs" (limited quantity), Cold Buns, Toasty Buns, Ketchup, Mustard, Relish, Onions, Potato Chips, Fresh Tap Water.

If you would like something that is not on the pack menu, feel free to bring some for yourself or bring extra to share.

Homework: Bring your favorite ice cream topping and bring a little extra to share.   

Pack supplied Ice Cream: Rainbow Sherbert, Vanilla, Chocolate. 

It is already time for us to plan for next year.  We need to reserve our fall campout spot and MPR dates very soon.  So put on your thinking caps and let us know what you would like to see in next year's cub scout program.  The planning meeting will be held during the spring picnic so we can get maximum parent involvement (because we really do want your input).
